Employment Opportunities

Employment opportunities in standardization include positions as a standards professional, supporting the standards development process through marketing, sales, and management, and working at a conformity assessment body such as a test lab, inspection body, certification body, or accreditation body.

Participation / Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering your expertise and time by participating on a standards development committee, working group, or other body is a great educational and growth experience for any professional. Gain valuable leadership and consensus building skills, meet and network with others in the industry, and gain insights on how standards are developed and managed.

    Standards Development/Developing Organization (SDOs) may submit calls for committee, task group, consensus body (or however named) participants to Women in Standards at admin@womeninstandards.org and we will post your calls to the page as a complimentary service. Calls for participants are also shared online through our social media channels.

    To post an open employment opportunities, please register as a Women in Standards SDO Member. Once registered, log in to navigate to the ‘Post a Job’ page or to manage your current listings. (Women in Standards SDO Members may also add calls for participants and manage their listing through this portal)
